I was awarded a judgment in court.  Why can't I recover my money?

Unfortunately the courts award judgments but they do not enforce them.  It is up to the creditor (you) to recover the money from the debtor.  This can be a difficult and time consuming process for someone not trained in judgment enforcement.  Our judgment recovery specialists are highly trained in tracking down your debtor and bringing them to justice so that you can get your money!

How much will this cost me?

There is absolutely no cost to you unless we recover your money.  All up-front expenses are advanced by us and we can petition the court to have the expenses added to the judgment amount.

How long will it take to recover my money?

It varies depending upon the complexity of the judgment and debtor's ability to hide assets.  Less complex judgments usually take 90-120 days (partially due to mandatory court exemption periods) while more complex judgments can take longer.  However, in some cases we may be able to buy your judgment immediately for Cash!

Does my judgment expire?

Judgments do indeed expire!  The statute of limitations in many states is 10 or 20 years and under certain circumstances judgments can be extended or renewed.  However, you should call us to verify the statute of limitations for your state.

Does my judgment collect interest?

Can I use an attorney?

You certainly can use an attorney.  However, many attorneys charge an hourly fee of $175 to $250 in addition to charges for bank searches, property searches, filing fees, etc.  And while attorneys are good at getting judgments awarded, many of them are not skilled in enforcing judgments.  In fact, many attorneys contact us to work judgments with them or for them!

Can I use a collection agency?

You can use a collection agency.  However, collection agencies are required by law to  stop collection letters and calls if the consumer simply sends a cease-and-desist letter.  In addition, our enforcement methods are much more far reaching than a collection agencies.

What is the minimum judgment amount you will enforce for clients?

The minimum judgment amount we will enforce is $2000.  There is no upper limit.
